My work is to produce replicas of models of "Viola da gamba" made by the old Masters. If you are a true lover of ancient music, you'll certainly know how a good instrument is important to obtain the "right" sound.
This does not mean that there is only one "right" sound, rather different places, music and tastes produce instruments with a peculiar nature of their own, which is not always easy or advisable to alter.
My aim and work is to try and understand the original instruments and the techniques involved in their construction, and transfer my experience and opinions to my instruments.
